Tony Lundman

Tony Lundman is the editor at  Konserthuset Stockholm and was previously a music critic and music editor for Svenska Dagbladet. He is the author of the acclaimed biography of Anders Eliasson (2012); "The best biography I have read about a Swedish composer" (Aftonbladet). The biography is now (2022) out in a revised edition with new material.
 
Lundman regularly participates in Swedish Radio's panel of critics in Musikrevyn (Musical review), and he has on several occasions guested Swedish Television’s Kulturstudion (Culture Studio). He has been a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music's Publications Board for many years, where he has been the editor of a number of books. He is also a member of the Swedish Writers’ Union. He has been awarded STIM's Writer's Prize for a pen ”capable of conveying the power of musical abstraction”.
 
"8" (2019) was Tony Lundman's first novel. "A page-turner" (Opus Magazine). "8" has also been translated into Finnish with the title "Kadonnut kahdeksas" (Aviador kustannus, 2020). "Time according to Bologna" (Tiden enligt Bologna, 2021) is Lundman's second novel.
